Bowling is a fundamental skill in cricket, and it is a very important part of the game. The aim of bowling is to propel the ball towards the wicket. Batters are responsible for protecting and launching the ball towards the wicket. An all-rounder is someone who can fulfill both roles.
Law 10
Law 10 governs the actions of a bowler when attempting to throw a cricket match ball. An umpire will call a noball when a bowler crosses his arm over his shoulder during delivery. Previously, this rule only applied to straight arm deliveries. Law 10 was changed to reflect the introduction of roundarm deliveries.

Bowling laws
There are a few important rules about the bowling process. First, let's talk about the wicket. The wicket must be located opposite the wickets of the opposing teams. It must be at minimum eight inches wide, and contain three stumps with two bails on each end. The stumps, bails, and their thickness must be equal. They must not allow the ball through them. The stumps should be equal in height and the bails shouldn't extend beyond the stumps by more than half an inches. The wickets cannot be changed during the match unless both teams agree to do so.
Underarm bowling laws
Although it is forbidden in many tournaments and organized leagues for cricket, it is permissible in other competitions. Underarm bowling cannot be done unless there is an agreement before the match.
Seam bowling laws
Laws of seam bowling in cricket are a set of rules relating to the use of seam bowlers. It is against cricket rules to lift the seam of a ball. This is an illegal practice that will cause a dead bat. The Laws also prohibit the use of wax or resin to stop wear and tear. To dry a wet ball, a bowler can also use sawdust and a towel. If an illegal practice is noticed, the umpire will intervene and change the ball to another with similar condition.
Backspin bowling laws
If you throw a ball that has a lot of backspin, it will bounce back. This happens due to the laws of kinetic friction. When a ball has high initial spin, kinetic friction will cause it to roll backward, while a low initial spin will cause it to roll forward.

Teesra bowling
When bowling cricket, you can use the 'Teesra' or 'Doosra' delivery. It is a surprise delivery and can surprise the batsman. It can also be useful in limited overs cricket.
