Alastair Cook is the highest run-scoring English cricketer of all time. He played 159 Tests with England, surpassing Graham Gooch (with 8900 runs). With 38 centuries, the England batsman places equal 10th on a list of Test century scorers.

Ponting's ODI record in Tests is also impressive. His 165 ODI wins at Tests are the second highest percentage in the history ODIs. Additionally, he is the only player that has participated in four World Cup finals.

Jonny Bairstow

Jonny Bairstow, a Yorkshire cricketer was born 26/09/89. He also represents Yorkshire in domestic cricket. He has previously played for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League and the Punjab Kings. Bairstow made his debut in the 2013-14 season, replacing Matt Prior. Bairstow took six wickets during the series and performed well behind the bowl but did not reach his first century until the fourth test, when he got out by Gautam Gambhir. He made a total score of 49 runs.

Bairstow's maiden Test century was in the UAE in 2015, as England were playing Pakistan. He made 23 runs in the first Test but play was stopped due to bad light. He scored 43 runs in the first Test and 79 in his final innings of the second Test. England lost this series 2-0.

Mark Craig

New Zealand's Mark Craig is the highest run-scorers in Test cricket history. The off-spinner was able to score 58 runs off 77 deliveries. He also scored nine fours and one six. It was one of most exciting innings in the history.

Craig made his international debut at the Kingston International Bowl against West Indies in June 2014. He was named Player-of-the-Match for his bowling performances and hit a six on his very first ball. This made Craig the first player to score a six off his debut ball. He was awarded Man of The Match for his performance during his Test debut.
