The ICC Championship is the premier league competition for Test cricket, which is run by the International Cricket Council. It began on 1 August 2019 and aims to be the most prestigious championship for the game. The tournament includes the ICC World Test Championship, ICC Champions Trophy, Knock Out Tournament and ICC Women's Championship.

ICC World Test Championship

The ICC World Test Championship is a league competition for Test cricket teams. This competition was launched by the International Cricket Council on 1 August 2019. The tournament is designed to be the premier championship for Test cricket. It is an important part in the sport because it allows cricketers from all over the world to show their skills.

The tournament, formerly the ICC Test Championship (previously the ICC Test Championship), is a competition between top eight teams from around the globe. The competition takes over the ICC Champions Trophy. Its structure has been modified a bit, with the top eight teams in the world moving on to the knockout stages. Although there has been much debate over a play-off among the top four teams in the world, this has not been decided.

ICC Champions Trophy

The ICC Champions Trophy is a One-Day International cricket tournament that is organised by the International Cricket Council. Although it was intended to be the final edition, its popularity meant that the tournament was extended through 2017. There are currently four editions with eight teams.

In August 2008, Pakistan hosted the inaugural edition of the ICC Champions Trophy. For security reasons, however, many countries were not keen to play in Pakistan. The tournament was then moved to South Africa, which was confirmed by Cricket South Africa on April 2, 2009.

ICC Knock Out Tournament

The 2000 ICC KnockOut Tournament was an One Day International cricket tournament held in Kenya. The winner was New Zealand, who walked away with the prize money of US$250 000. This was their first major ICC Tournament victory. The competition also saw Yuvraj Sing, Zaheer Khan and Marlon Sams making their ODI debuts.

The tournament had eight teams competing, each divided into two groups of four teams. Each team met the other team once during a round-robin contest. The winning team qualified from Group A, while the losing team was automatically eliminated. In the knockout stages, eight of the top ODI teams competed.

ICC Women's Championship

The ICC Women's Championship determines who qualifies for the Women's Cricket World Cup. The tournament is played among the eight top teams in the ICC Women's Rankings. Over 100 countries have participated in the tournament since its inception. The tournament has been played annually since 2001.

The ICC Women's Championship is the main qualifying tournament for the Women's World Cup, and the competition is played over a four-year period. Initially, only the top eight teams from the ICC Women's Rankings qualified. Scotland won the 2014 tournament.
